Pop of Color - Pale Pink

It's Spring and something about this time of year makes us want to add a little life and color to our homes.  Let's get out of the Winter greys and a little POP of color.  I'm so excited to share a fabulous giveaway with you.  How does $100 to Wayfair.com sound?  Pretty great, I'm sure.

Maybe this should be considered more of a fizzle then a pop of color, but I am LOVING pale pink.  It's such a soft, pretty color that goes so well with so many other colors.

My kitchen is mostly white, with all the cabinets, but my avocado green glass tile backspace makes the statement in the space.  For a while now I've wanted to add another color to the space, but just was unsure of where to go.  I didn't want to be safe with a teal or even yellow, but I think this pale pink in splashes throughout the space is perfect.  It's a little unexpected and totally stands out in a very saturated green space.

I found all these amazing Ferm Living (my fave) pieces at Wayfair.com.  Man oh man, they have EVERYTHING!  It's such a great way to find accent pieces in a specific color and style.  Wayfair has amazing search options to make the shopping experience a piece of cake.

Here's how you can enter to win a $100 gift card.  Simply leave a comment with the color you'd like to POP in your home this Spring and what item from Wayfair you would buy to bring that color into your home.  That's pretty easy, right?

This giveaway will end on Thursday, May 1st at 12 noon PST.  You may enter more then once.

Can you see why I LOVE Wayfair?  Such a great site for those hard to find fun pieces.

  3. Thanks for the giveaway! My favorite room to work on in the spring and summer is our back porch. I'd like to pop that space with more sunshine yellow and bright blue (from flowers, rugs, pillows, paint, etc,). Actually, if we're being honest that is the one space where I just can't get enough color. I found a GREAT outdoor rug on sale at Wayfare and a super cute planter, I'd get both if I won this giveaway.

  4. my gut reaction is to say pink because that is my favorite color - but i know that may not be the most exciting for my husband. haha i think pastel and soft blues would be better - and would also go with the beach theme i am trying to fit into my new crafting room

  5. I'm bringing in more copper & mint into my home this spring, and I'll be painting most of my walls white (with 1 dark peacock blue). But I do love that pale pink basket! It's definitely needed in my apartment.

  10. I'm actually adding pale pink to my main floor powder room! Opal, by Benjamin Moore. It will offset my vintage Turner flamingo mirror nicely! To go in that room, I'd like to get two Feiss Urban Renewal 1 Light Wall Brackets from Wayfair.

  13. We just started the adoption process again for a second and we're in the process of decorating another baby room! We're going with a mostly black and white theme and we have some great little cloud decals to put on the wall. This neon yellow rain-drop pillow would accent the space perfectly and be a perfect pairing with our clouds.

  16. moving to a new place next week and already planning out my new space. it's much smaller than our current apartment (hello one bedroom!) so i'm thinking light and airy, the blue and green tones in the Vista Ivory Rug are calling to me. and i love the idea of a 3 panel bamboo room divider (also saw on the site) to break up our large living area and make it feel more like the 2-bedroom apt i've gotten so used to!

  27. I don't know what happened but I tried posting a comment from my phone and it didn't take...but I am so glad I saw your Insta pic or else I would have missed this opportunity!! If I could choose a pop of colour for my home I would go with Kelly Green...that's a totally different colour to what I thought I posted before because now I'm sitting in my house instead of the carpool line:) Cheers!

  28. Though my entire home could use a touch of color, my boys' room needs a little something extra. I would try out this fun take on a classic stripe in ferm LIVING Stripe Quilted Cotton Blanket. Or add in a touch of blue and transforming the room with ferm LIVING Remix Geometric Wallpaper. Either way, a touch of color would be a great addition to our home!

  29. How did I not know Ferm Living was sold on Wayfair?! I absolutely adore the brand and especially love the geometric black and white items, like the laundry basket or cups. Pops of black and white are my favorite and I'm realizing they are the colors I'm adding to my home this season!
